Follow these preparation tips before your big match and you’ll be on top of your game!
Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate! Whether you’re playing indoors in a heated facility on a snowy day in January or outdoors on a cool and overcast day, your body still needs hydration. Hydrate before bed the day before, in the morning the day of your match, during your match and after your match.
Eat a healthy meal about an hour before you head out on the court with plenty of carbs- stay away from processed sugars.
Bag check! Make sure you have your equipment ready, back-up racket, extra socks, energy bars, possibly extra shoes- anything you think you may need should be with you on the court.
This will only give you peace of mind, which will in-turn give you confidence and keep you focused during your match.
